The Study Abroad Cell (SAC) at NK Orchid College of Engineering and Technology, Solapur, has demonstrated remarkable success in guiding students toward prestigious global academic opportunities. Over the years, a total of 78 students have secured admissions to renowned international universities across multiple continents. This achievement reflects the cell’s consistent efforts in offering personalized mentorship, application guidance, language support, and cultural orientation to students from diverse engineering branches.

Among the top destinations, the United States stands out with 32 students pursuing graduate programs at leading institutions, followed by Germany with 16 students, known for its robust engineering and applied sciences programs. The United Kingdom, France, and Canada also emerged as preferred choices, collectively hosting 19 of our students. Additionally, SAC has enabled placements in emerging academic hubs such as Australia, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Austria, Brazil, and Argentina, showcasing the cell’s diverse network and international reach.

This wide geographical spread not only illustrates the global aspirations of our students but also highlights SAC’s strategic collaborations and its commitment to transforming local talent into global professionals. Through structured counseling and strong institutional tie-ups, the Study Abroad Cell continues to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and international academic mobility.

International Engagements

Four students from NK Orchid College of Engineering and Technology, Solapur successfully secured opportunities at Polytech Nancy University, France, highlighting the institute’s expanding global reach and strong academic collaborations. From 24th April 2024 to 2nd August 2024, the students participated in a Students Orientation Program at Nancy University Hospital and had the privilege of interacting with Mayor Sir Hablot of Vandoeuvre. Their visit also included an industry exposure program at the Dassault Systèmes Headquarters in Vélizy, France, offering them first-hand insights into advanced industrial innovation and global engineering practices.

Four students from Polytech Nancy University, France successfully completed their internship and project work at the Solar Research Center of NK Orchid College of Engineering and Technology, Solapur from 24th April 2024 to 2nd August 2024. Their internship focused on “Solar Energy Engineering for Sustainable Cities and Product Development”, providing hands-on experience in renewable energy solutions and sustainability-driven innovation. This collaboration reflects the institute’s commitment to facilitating impactful global research and fostering cross-cultural academic exchange.

Two students from Polytech Nancy University, France undertook and successfully completed an internship and project work at the Solar Research Center of NK Orchid College of Engineering and Technology, Solapur from 24th March 2025 to 6th June 2025. Their project, titled “Solar Tree for Sustainable Cities”, focused on innovative applications of solar technology in urban environments. This initiative further strengthens the collaborative efforts between the two institutions in promoting sustainable engineering solutions and global academic engagement.
