The NKOCET Central Library is more than just a repository of books—it’s a dynamic learning space that fosters intellectual curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning. Our collection spans across Engineering, Technology, Management, and general personality development resources.
The Central Library of N. K. Orchid College of Engineering & Technology was established in 2008. It is spread over 1021 sq. meters and has a rich collection of books, national and international journals, magazines, personality development books, question banks, and other learning materials in Engineering and Technology.

The N.K.O.C.E.T. Library boasts an extensive and diverse collection, serving as a valuable academic resource for students and faculty alike. With over 60,917 books covering a wide range of subjects in engineering, technology, science, humanities, and management, the library supports both curricular and research needs. In addition to printed resources, the library subscribes to 76 national and international journals along with e-journals, ensuring that users have access to the latest developments and scholarly articles in their respective fields. This rich collection plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of reading, learning, and innovation within the campus.

- NKOCET provides its academic community with extensive digital learning support through platforms like the Ekeeda Digital Library, offering video lectures and study materials, and NPTEL, which hosts a vast collection of courses from premier institutes like IITs and IISc — all accessible both on-campus and remotely for seamless learning and research
- The library is powered by an advanced Library Management System that enables automated cataloguing and circulation, user-friendly OPAC for easy resource discovery, real-time tracking of materials, and is regularly updated to maintain a responsive and efficient digital infrastructure
- The library provides a range of user-centric services including orientation programs, home lending and reservation of books, reprographic facilities, internet and Wi-Fi access, reference and research assistance, and seamless access to the digital library

- Stack Area – Main collection of textbooks and reference materials.
- Reference Section – Contains encyclopaedias, handbooks, and other resources.
- Personality Development Books Section – Focused resources for soft skills and self-improvement.
- Competitive Exam Section – Includes preparatory books for exams like GATE, MPSC, UPSC, etc.
- Newspaper & Current Affairs Section – Daily newspapers and updated current events material.
- Reprography Section – Offers photocopying and printing services for academic needs.
- Reading Room – Provides quiet zones for individual study and dedicated spaces for group discussions.
- Digital Library Platform – Access to e-books, e-journals, and other online academic resources.

Note: The library reading room is open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. It is closed on national holidays.

Library Committee
The Library Committee is a dedicated group of faculty members and staff responsible for overseeing and enhancing the library’s services. The committee typically:

Welcome to the Digital Library! To ensure a smooth, secure, and enriching experience for all users, we have established a set of rules and regulations. These guidelines are designed to promote responsible usage, protect digital resources, and maintain a respectful learning environment. All users are expected to adhere to these rules while accessing the Digital Library, so that the platform remains a valuable and efficient resource for the entire community.
- College I.D. is compulsory to access Digital/e-library.
- Digital Library is to be used for academic/Research purposes only.
