Who We Are
Team Pushpak is a student-led drone research and development group established in 2022. With expertise spanning mechanical, electronics, and computer science, we design, develop, and deploy UAVs, including quadcopters, hexacopters, and VTOL drones. Our mission is to push the boundaries of drone technology for academic, industrial, and societal applications.

- Foster a collaborative learning environment for drone technology.
- Develop indigenous UAVs for aerial surveying, agriculture, and emergency response.

What We Do
We specialize in end-to-end UAV development, including:
- Mechanical Design: CAD modeling, 3D printing, payload integration.
- Electronics & Avionics: Flight controllers, GPS modules, telemetry, and sensors.
- Software & Firmware: Mission planning, simulations, performance optimization.
- Flight Testing & Piloting: Manual and autonomous UAV trials.
- Technical Knowledge Sharing: Workshops, presentations, and mentorship programs.
- Payload Mechanism: Successfully implemented automated payload delivery on drones for versatile applications.

- Hexacopter Development: Designed a modular drone for autonomous missions.
- Firmware Optimization: Enhanced quadcopter performance through software tuning.
- Industry Exposure: Engaged with Rotary Club Pune for networking and insights.
- Academic Recognition: Showcased drone technology to NAAC assessors & trustees.
- Competition Participation: Prepared for Dassault Systèmes’ Aakruti event.
- Lab Infrastructure Expansion: Established a state-of-the-art drone development lab.
- Team Growth: Inducted and trained new members for continued innovation.
- Payload Mechanism Implementation: Integrated a fully functional payload delivery system into drones for efficient transport and deployment.

- Aditya Kalshetti – Electronics & Avionics Lead ⚙️ Manages circuit integration, motor tuning, and flight controller setup.
- Shivchalappa Hippargi – Flight Operations & Simulation Lead 🎮 Conducts flight trials, simulation training, and mission planning.
- Sakshi Revaje – Research & Documentation Head 📖 Prepares technical reports, presentations, and digital content.
- Rishikesh S. Marathe – Mentor & Former Head of Design & Testing 🔬 Guides the team with strategic vision, technical expertise, and advanced UAV design.
