About Team Ashwamedh
Team Ashwamedh is the official Formula Student team of N. K. Orchid College of Engineering and Technology (NKOCET), Solapur. Formed to promote innovation and technical excellence, the team comprises passionate engineering students dedicated to designing and building Formula-style race cars.
Recently, the team secured All India Rank 2 (AIR-2) at Formula Imperial 2024, showcasing their strength in design, cost analysis, business presentation, and on-track performance. They also achieved AIR-5 in the Endurance Race at SAE SUPRA 2024, ranking among the top 5 out of 60 national teams, highlighting their focus on reliability and race efficiency.
Looking ahead, Team Ashwamedh is gearing up for Formula Imperial 2025, to be held at the Madras International Circuit, and Formula Bharat 2026, scheduled at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. The team continues to set new benchmarks, proudly representing NKOCET Solapur at the national level with passion, performance, and professionalism.
Ashwamedh Creating Minds
On 5th December 2024, Team Ashwamedh, in collaboration with Jalsamruddhi Agro, visited a total of 9 schools across villages, including Ule, Kasegaon, and Boramani, to introduce students to the world of cutting-edge technology through our Formula Student vehicle.
These students come from backgrounds where opportunities to witness cutting-edge technology are rare. Yet, when they heard the engine roar and saw a live demonstration of our vehicle, their faces lit up with joy, amazement, and curiosity A total of 2100+ students have shown our RATHIN.
